Do you enjoy getting to know people and building relationships that will last? Do you have a heart for working with and helping seniors? If so, this Caregiver role could be just the fit for you! As a Caregiver, you will provide a variety of home care services for seniors in their homes, allowing them to be safe and stay independent. At Home Instead Senior Care, we strive to provide compassionate and reliable home services to enable seniors to remain at home.
Established in 1994 we've grown from a handful of local families to over 1,200 franchises nationally and internationally. We offer training, competitive pay and benefits as well as a variety of shifts. Our goal is to enhance the lives of aging adults throughout our community, and ideally help then to remain in their home.
Caregiver duties include:
Companionship
Light housekeeping and preparing meals
Reminding clients of medications
Assisting with errands and appointments
Assisting with grooming, bathing, toileting and incontinence issues
Caring for clients with Alzheimer's or other forms of dementia.
Job Requirements:
A strong passion to work with seniors

Excellent communication skills
Access to reliable transportation.
Requirements for Caregiver:
Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner.
Possess a valid driver's license
Possess current auto insurance
Have a reliable vehicle
The state of California requires that all applicants submit their finger prints to the FBI and Department of Justice and pass a criminal background check.
While our office is located in Chico, CA, we serve Chico, Paradise/Magalia and Oroville areas.
