Machinist
With minimal supervision, set up and operate manually controlled machines to create custom parts for pump repair and replacements.
Essential Duties
Perform tasks in a safe and efficient manner
Read and interpret cad drawings
Use gauges and measuring instruments
Use lathes, horizontal boring mills, vertical milling machine, cutting tools and equipment
Perform cleaning and maintenance tasks on machines
Operate bridge cranes in safe manner
Base Qualifications
2 Years minimum experience in manual machining
Ability to lift 75 pounds
Pass Pre-Employment drug test and physical
Self-Starter, able to work alone and complete tasks unsupervised
Good communication skills both written and oral
Basic math skills
Ability to operate manual milling machines accurately and safely
All tools provided
After probationary period, benefits are paid vacation, sick leave, health and dental insurance, 401K after vesting. Hours are Monday – Thursday, 6:30 – 5:00
