Elfin Neighborhood - Operations Manager

Position - Fulltime

Willingness to travel in CA, UT, CO (Costa Rica and Philippines as required)

At Elfin Neighborhood, we are looking for a customer-obsessed Operations Manager that has it all!

We need you to motivate, coach, and support the objective of providing outstanding customer service and performance by leading a team of Elfin team members in our neighborhood support locations. This role includes working and strategizing with our team members and managers to create a vision and plan that focuses on our client's needs, providing fantastic customer service, and meeting the needs of our client's customers (as defined by the objectives of our clients).

Operations Managers coach, train, and develop agents, leads, managers by ensuring soundness and efficiency in local operations, development, and implementation of performance objectives, diagnosing performance problems, addressing human resources and team management issues, and, of course, always delivering exceptional customer service to our client's customers.

A self-starter who is excited about starting early, being there late, and loves playing a pivotal role in managing business performance.

We're looking for a smart data-oriented business savvy individual who can deliver big ideas, pivot quickly based on data and insights, and own projects end-to-end.

Basic Qualifications

The operations manager leads a team of employees and will work closely with external clients, as well as with partners in other areas of our company (People & Culture, Talent, Sales, and Finance) to ensure that client programs and initiatives are well planned and results are communicated in a timely manner. The manager provides training and guidance to less experience team members of all levels, as well as works with client, and SRP management team members, to set and achieve client objectives. Clearly define client project deliverables, timelines, and dependences for team members and internal partners.

Bachelors Degree

3 Years of management experience

Experience working with managing 3rd party relationships

Ability to communicate ideas, motivate team members, and influence stakeholders, both verbally and in writing

Execute your proposals from start to finish, creating staff forecast/budgets, implementing timelines, aligning project partners, testing concepts, executing and measuring results

Executive presentation presence able to influence stakeholders across the organization, and present compelling proposals and results to our clients.

Attention to detail in managing multiple competing priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Good to great knowledge of Zendesk

Ability to think strategically, but willing to roll up your sleeves as well

High energy, innovative, and upbeat

Capable with Microsoft Office products

Travel is required. It can be up to 1-3 days per week locally (depending on your location), but will not be less than one visit per month of 1-3 days. More extended travelwill be to cover onsite manager vacations (no more than seven days) with advance notice. The company pays accommodations and travel costs.

Preferred Qualifications

Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, manage multiple projects, with a strong sense of urgency, and follow-thru in addressing issues

Question the norms and elevate the value or processes behind your teams work

Creative mind with the ability to think outside the box, while ensuring that projects achieve key business results

4+ years of business operations experience in a fast-moving, high-visibility business where you have optimized processes to gain efficiencies (Contact Center work Preferred)

Strong knowledge of Excel including pivot tables, v-lookups, etc.

Familiar with programming languages such as SQL

There will not be a middleman between you and our client, their customer, or the front-line staff. This role requires flexibility in your work times “ at times it needs nights, weekends, and to be on-call for the team and client. We dont ask our clients to stand on ceremony to receive excellent service. It is your responsibility, as it is all team members, to ensure we give 110% every day.

Most weeks you will work in your home office, working online with your team. You will be metrics-driven, analyzing data that can improve our service to our clients and their customers. Your focus is always to understand the client's business better, know their customer's needs, deepen the relationship, and improve the experience with both.

The person in this position frequently communicates with team members, clients, and their customers in person, online, and over the phone regarding inquiries about work, accounts, employment, salaries, and schedules or other personal or reporting issues. In this role, you must be able to exchange accurate information, confidentially with other departments, clients, customers, and team members.

The person in this position may be required to move Audio/Visual/ Catering/Luggage equipment weighing up to 50 pounds across the office, through an airport for travel, and perform in various classrooms and events.
