We have an exciting opportunity to join our premier Estate Planning, Trust/Probate Administration and Elder Law Firm. The Legal Assistant will work together with our existing team of 3 Attorneys and 6 professional staff to provide outstanding services to the firm's expanding base of clients throughout California.
This position demands a responsible and organized professional to support the Attorneys and Legal Assistants in an administrative fashion. We are extremely service oriented and pride ourselves on helping our multi-generational clients. This position is demanding and fast-paced, yet extremely rewarding.
The ideal candidate must be customer service driven and have extreme attention to detail. Excellent time management and computer skills are required to excel in this position. Experience in Time Matters or other practice/business management software is a plus. Notary Public is a plus. Experience in Estate Planning, Probate, Trusts and Estates Administration is desired, however, experience with Real Property Transfers in financial institutions, or with Tax may be substituted.

Prepare deeds and supporting documents, affidavits and asset transfer documents
Marshal Estate Planning matters from intake though funding
Ability to work well as part of a team as well as independently
Excellent oral communication, interpersonal, written communication and time management skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy
Ability to provide clerical and administrative support and other duties as required
College degree desired, but relevant experience will be considered
REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to independently manage workload in a timely manner, track deadlines
Proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook, with ability and willingness to learn technology quickly
Knowledge of our software Time Matters is desired
Strong attention to detail with 100% accuracy
Ability to work in a high pressure, deadline driven environment
High degree of integrity, discretion and confidentiality
Neat and professional appearance
Notary Public or Ability to Obtain
Excellent interpersonal skills with clients, financial institutions, government agencies, attorneys & fellow team members.
