Part-Time Employee Wanted For UAS Agriculture Operations
Position:
Remote Pilot in Command (RPIC) participates in all aspects of flight operations and acts as a liaison with customers. Duties include the ability to safely operate multiple UAS platforms, have knowledge and experience with flight planning and flight management software. Pilot is deployed on projects on an as-needed basis. All equipment is provided to you by the company.
Requirements:
Must be a certified FAA Part 107 Pilot, or if have extensive Ag background will cover the cost for FAA
licensing.
Pilot must be able to safely fly UASs in accordance with FAA Part 107 regulations.
Familiar with Multispectral, Thermal and RGB mapping information.
Background and knowledge in agriculture/agricultural operations is preferred.
Daily/Out of town travel is expected and required.
Available for at least 3 days a week.
Work with minimum supervision.
Good driving record and can pass a background check.
Responsibilities:
Understand and collect required data.
Ensure all work is completed within scheduled time.
Must be able to a pilot a drone safely without GPS assistance if connection is lost.
Familiarity and comfort with drone equipment and sensors.
Comfortable with basic drone data management steps, drone software tools and uploading image files.
Conduct and act professionally and be presentable at all times.
You may be required to work outside of normal business hours if project so requires.
Must possess initiative, great verbal and written communication skills, and have experience with and be comfortable using common computer applications.
Physical requirements/Work Environment:
Ability to perform work in agricultural settings and/or lift drone equipment as needed.
Lift and/or pull up to 50lbs.
Able to physically walk to and through sites.
Able to stand for long periods of time.
Compensation:
Competitive Wage Depending on experience.
Travel reimbursement.
Paid two-day training.
