JOB DESCRIPTION: Software Support Specialist
POSITION CLASSIFICATION: Full Time - Non-Exempt
Job Summary: Support and implementation of customer facing data collection application. Assist with the development and maintenance of reporting tools.
Essential job functions and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Contact current customers and gain commitment to the implementation of data gathering software.
Follow up and follow through on software-related customer issues to ensure complete installation.
Coordinate with the IT, sales, and service departments to ensure completion of software installation at the customer site.
Communicate with department and other personnel to resolve data collection issues in a timely manner.
Responsible for reviewing daily and weekly reports to ensure data gathering software is timely and accurate.
Promote positive relationships with both external and internal customers.
Expectations:

Qualifications include but are not limited to:
Relevant work experience in a customer service/support position.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Understanding of support tools, techniques, and how technology is used to provide IT services.
Excellent customer service skills including the ability to effectively communicate with end users through print and voice communication.
Strong analytic skills, goal oriented, and possess strong organizational and planning skills.
Must be capable of working independently with minimum supervision.
Ability to handle stressful situations and thrive under pressure.
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Highly motivated and driven to succeed.
