Small shop in Chico , 45 years in business, Gold Shield Smog Station in need of an experienced automotive service technician for full time work . No need to have your own tools. ASE certifications ? GREAT! Smog Certified ? Even better ! Vacation paid. Pay based on experience, certifications and licenses. We work on a variety of domestic and foreign vehicles, plenty of variety to work on and to learn.
looking for the following abilities:
Able to preform general automotive diagnostics and maintenance
able to repair brakes, suspension and steering components
able to diagnose electrical issues and drivability /safety concerns
Diesel knowledge and experience a plus
ability to work independently, but also assist other technicians when needed
