Class C Delivery Driver
S&L Class C drivers will be responsible for the delivery of products delivered to S&L customers. All Class C drivers will be required to show proof of a valid Class C driver’s license prior to beginning work.

Minimum Skills Requirements: Delivery drivers are often the people who have the most direct connection with the customer. It is imperative that the delivery driver provides the best possible customer service and possesses the skills to effectively communicate with the customer and sales team should issues arise at time of delivery. The driver will be responsible for delivery, check-in, rotation and storage of product at the customer’s location. The ability to safely and continually lift 50+lb cases is a requirement for the position. The driver will also be required to keep a professional personal appearance at all times.
Travel: Assigned route in the greater Chico area.
Duties:
Safely operate a Class C delivery vehicle
Deliver, and check-in of product at S&L customer site.
Provide best in class customer service.
Safely use hand truck and/or pallet jacks to load and unload the vehicle.
Communicate with sales team when issues arise at delivery.
Complete needed paperwork at delivery and return to office.
Other duties as assigned by management.
Check in with transportation management before ending shift to ensure no further help is needed.
Hours: Approximately 40hrs week.
