Execute month-end closing process and running of reports
Demonstrate solid understanding of the balance sheet account reconciliation process; complete accurate and compliant reconciliations in accordance with company requirements
Responsible for ensuring that GL offsets and supporting source adjustments are identified and cleared prior to deadline; follow-up on timely clearing of all reconciling transactions
Work effectively with other departments and outside parties to resolve invoice payment issues
Review and approval of journal entries in system
Serve as team lead in with respect to the day to day work performed by the staff accountants
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualified candidate must be fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese
Work experience: current Accounting supervisor / Financial Analyst supervisor or manager position with a focus on Inventory, IC and/or GL accounts, especially with extended focus on or in charge of B/S Accounts Reconciliation + 3 years SAP experience.
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance required
3+ years of accounting experience in logistics/transportation field
3+ years supervisory/management experience
Ability to train others, promote teamwork, and exhibit leadership skills
Must have good written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Work under pressure to deadlines
High degree of accuracy with a good eye for detail
Self-motivated and proactive
Demonstrated ability to take initiative and achieve results in a fast-paced and changing environment
