Job Description

Manage various tax filings for all group and affiliate companies on a quarterly and annual basis, including Federal and State income tax returns prepared by BDO; Subsidiaries’ consumption tax, business license tax in addition to corporate tax per local country / government tax regulation and requirement.

Manage KPMG’s annual transfer Pricing study at the group level as well as in country compliance and filing.

Work with senior management and tax consultant on enterprise tax planning in response to tax lows and regulation evolvement.

Manage DISC commission at quarterly and annual basis by providing cost profit information by line items with BDO.

COMPLIANCE: Annual Secretary of State Statement of Information Filing- upon receipt of the notice, work with legal to file the Statement of Information the State of California.

Quarterly compliance certificate with all the banks involved including Comerica bank, City Nation bank, EastWest bank, MUFJ, etc.

AUDIT: Support annual financial audit performed by Windes.

AUDIT: On an as needed basis, work with Accounting and Internal Audit to design internal controls and implement remediation plans internal audit findings.

Qualifications

BA/BS in Taxation, Accounting or Finance

Valid California CPA a must, MBA and ACCA preferred

Fluent written and spoken English and Chinese required

4 to 5 years Senior Tax consultant or Senior GL Accountant with a CPA firm preferred

4 to 5 years ERP experience with SAP experience preferred

Working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and exposure to international tax

Good analytical skills

A strong work ethic and self-starter
