Job Description:

The Quality Specialist II is responsible for testing and delivering complex software to accomplish business outcomes. These individuals are subject matter experts on testing practices ensuring that software is tested to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements. They help condition and generate test data, build and execute both manual and automated test suites, record and communicate the test results, and assist with triaging defects. They also ensure regression test suites are maintained and well designed.

Job Duties:

• Develop detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test cases based on functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements
  
• Lead test planning, usually at a team level
  
• When part of a Scrum team, ensure stories are well refined and contain clear acceptance criteria
  
• Ensure in scope and out of scope items are clearly identified during test planning
  
• Implement the test framework for the team
  
• Lead test case reviews and work with subject matter experts and stakeholders to ensure test coverage
  
• Identify automation opportunities and develop test automation for applicable test types
  
• Help condition and generate test data and ensure data compliance requirements are met on all levels of test environments. Assist in identifying and managing sensitive test data
  

Required Skills and Experience:

• Knowledge of dependencies within Wire processes, products, and client setups
  
• Knowledge of the Wire Transfer process, Understands the functionality of Wires
  
• Processes: Agile, SDLC SDM, Test Management.
  
• SQL queries, Oracle DB testing
  
• Payment processing, message processing
  
• Client products and services as they relate to Wire Transfer
  
• Wire Database set ups and functionalities, and how they interact (mainly for internal hire)
  
• Federal Reserve practices and formats
  
• Chips Clearing practices and formats
  
• Swift practices and formats
  
• GPI processing
  
• Experience supporting middleware interfaces
  
• SDLC, SDM, Test Management.
  
• Jira, qTest applications
  

Secondary Skills:

• RDBMS (Oracle) DB testing
  
• Experience with testing middleware services, web services, daemon processing using tools like SOPA UI and Postman
  
• Current ACI vendor application knowledge of the WTX application
  
• Linux, shell, UFT, SOAPUI
