Qualifications
Required:
8+ years experience with application development
Fluency with one or more modern web frameworks (e.g. ReactJS, Angular) + one or more modern object-oriented programming languages (e.g. Java, C#, Python)
Demonstrated strength in SaaS services, experience in massive scale web operations
Deep understanding of IaC, SaaS, PaaS and building highly available infrastructure using public cloud technologies and native services
Strong understanding and working knowledge of software configuration management systems and/or source code version control systems and experience automating build and release processes, build management, dependency management and continuous integration/deployment tools
Experience with Agile development and methodologies and experience with Linux, UNIX, and Windows; Understanding of service-oriented attitude with excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Experience operating on AWS (both PaaS and IaaS offerings)
Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery concepts, including Infrastructure as code utilizing tools like Terraform, Cloudformation and Chef/SaltStack
Experience working cross functionally - partnering closely with design & product teams to craft great user experiences
Travel up to 10-20% (While 10-20% of travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice)

Preferred:
BS in Computer Science or related technology field
Basic understanding of the Financial Services industry
Demonstrated Success:
Distributed, high-transaction database architecture (SQL and NoSQL)
Architecture for high volume in-memory search
Multi-processing and distributed computation
Architecture for scale in real-time environments
AWS (Comprehend, S3, EC2)
NLP Machine learning and Big Data concepts and practices a plus
