DescriptionRobert Half Technology is looking for a PC tech who can Apply problem-solving and communication skills in this PC Technician position available from Robert Half Technology. The Hi Tech Engineering company is in need of a great communicator who can solve and explain complicated issues to technical and non-technical users. If you are a self-motivated problem solver who loves to work in a dynamic and positive environment, this may be the role for you. Come work as a long-term temporary PC Technician in the Culver City Area.Your responsibilities
Comply with company quality standards to ensure sound electronic data records
Handle take down, packaging, transportation and setup/installation on site
Arrange for repairs through the appropriate vendors
Communicate regularly and effectively with ticket submitters
Manage imaging and preparation for new computers
Record daily data communication transactions, issues and remedial actions or installation activities
Install printers, and troubleshoot and repair issues
Diagnose, repair, rebuild, and refurbish PCs, laptops, monitors, server, and other computer hardware
Take down, box and ship equipment that is outdated
Transfer data from PC to PC and troubleshoot software/hardware as well as break/fix
Keep track of equipment and collaborate on possible purchases
Collaborate to test functionality and provide end user support
Take responsibility for technology implementation projects and carry them out

Desired skills include an understanding of networking such as switching and routing
A certification in CompTIA A+ is mandatory
Command of Desktop Imaging
Deep understanding of Desktop Support
Desktop Hardware experience desired
Attentive, ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
Demonstrated flexibility to adapt to changes in procedures
1 - 3 years of experience supporting hardware and software for PC and Mac, and knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN, and WAN
Ability to simplify complex problems and build solutions
Be able to prioritize workload and perform in a fast-paced and challenging environment
