Title: Migration EPM for Shared Services Location: Cupertino, CA (Remote Now) Duration: 18+ Months Contract
Role Responsibilities:
understanding tracks within migration, varying from infrastructure to frameworks to tooling migrations and where the plans vary from sunsets to migrations to existing tooling to building new tooling in order to migrate use cases
representing all of Shared Services
driving progress on each track with the variety of teams involved, and providing milestones and status updates
leading the various teams involved in tracking and completed required steps using influence (not authority)
planning and re-planning for each track as obstacles or changes in direction or timelines occur, including driving discussions on new or modified approach, timelines, etc. and gaining alignment with engineering and across organizational management on the new approach, timelines, etc.
providing and maintaining plans for each migration track including timelines and milestones to completion
providing communication, including weekly status updates, on tracks being actively driven for next steps
proactively communicating any updates, risks, dependencies, timelines, changes, or impact with relevant audiences, including stakeholders, rest of migration team, impacted engineering teams, etc.
communicating , etc. to the appropriate audiences throughout the lifecycle of the migrations
running the program to completion (1 year+), whether that is deprecation or migration to another tool & decommissioning existing frameworks, jobs, etc.
documenting and completing closing steps for each track
