The IT Finance Systems Functional II will work within the IT Team to support the overall system/ network needs of Niagara’s corporate office and plants.
Work with Finance business process owners and relevant Finance stakeholders to translate business requirements to technology solutions related to Billing, Revenue, and Payment Applications

  • Responsible for supporting and optimizing ‘Core Finance’ platform including and not restricted to Billing/Revenue/Accounting applications.
  • Partner with relevant Finance Process Owners to prioritize and implement enhancements.
  • Ensure defining and meeting Service Level Agreements with relevant stakeholders.
  • Partner with operations, security and infrastructure teams to ensure adherence to Niagara standards
  • Responsible for implementing new technologies and systems
  • Collect requirements for building and supporting business applications
  • Analyze and design short and long term solutions for Finance systems
  • Plan and Perform various test cycles like integration testing, and system testing
  • Plan, organize and conduct workshops to facilitate discussions and decisions for building business applications.
  • Provide Production support for month-end close activities
  • Work with other business systems analysts and the development team in converting the business solution into technical designs
  • Create and manage documentation as appropriate related to the creation of desktop manuals, test scenarios, test conditions, and test scripts

Qualifications
  • Minimum Qualifications:
    • 2+ Years – Experience in Field or similar manufacturing environment
    • 2+ Years – Experience in Position
    • 2+ Years – Experience managing people/projects

  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • 4+ Years – Experience in Field or similar manufacturing environment
    • 4+ Years – Experience working in Position
    • 2+ Years – Experience managing people/projects

Education

Minimum Required:
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Transportation, Manufacturing, Computer Science or Engineering, related field, or equivalent work experience

Preferred:
    • Master’s Degree in Supply Chain, Transportation, Manufacturing, Computer Science or Engineering, or related field or equivalent work experience

Additionally, the IT Analyst is expected to demonstrate:
    • Analyze and develop solutions addressing customer needs
    • Experience in Business Analysis
    • Overall high degree of professionalism
    • Strong team-oriented interpersonal skills including facilitation and the ability to effectively interface and work with a wide variety of people.

    • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and critical thinking skills
    • Ability to translate complex business needs into use case models
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to provide detailed documentation of a technology incident
    • Proficient computer skills (i.e. Microsoft Office, Outlook)

    • Ability to deliver effective and professional presentation to peers, management and other professionals within our field
