The Consultant must meet all of the following minimum qualifications:
1. Two (2) years of experience within the last three (3) years operating and
administering IBM System p-Series/z-Series platform.
2. One (1) year of experience within the last three (3) years operating on
automation of system monitoring and maintenance procedures and experience
in ITM System Monitoring, or similar role.
(System Operators are responsible for trouble shooting and weekly IPL of test and
production systems on Mainframe. Production jobs are to run on schedule (test
systems are available for programmers and operators are tasked to maintain systems
availability)).
3. Two (2) years of experience within the last three (3) years monitoring and
scheduling file systems on EMC/IBM storage on AIX, managing job processing
and running operations commands on Netview Management Console,
navigating Sysview, 3270 emulation familiarity.
4. One (1) year of experience within the last three (3) years managing and/or
supporting a production security incident response environment, including
working with end-users to investigate, analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve
security incident issues.
5. One (1) year of experience in support for Comprehensive "canned" automation
for IMS, CICS, OPC and DB2 Familiarity with VTAM, TSO, JES2, MVS
Operations, and with Tivoli enterprise solutions.
6. One (1) year of experience within the last four (4) years in a security monitoring
role.
