Description:Lockheed Martin Aeronautics. Be More Than You Can Imagine . This position will be part of the F-35 Integrated Flight Test Team located at Edwards AFB CA. The Candidate selected will be responsible for deployment, training and coaching of employees, setting individual and team goals, completing performance evaluation for employees and providing constructive feedback to employees. Position will be responsible for recording and monitoring employee's attendance, daily work assessments. Responsible for promoting a safe work environment, driving continuous improvement, quality efficiency in the quality department and assisting in corrective actions. Supervise Inspectors performing Quality Control activities in accordance with applicable Blue prints, Joint Technical Data (JTD) and engineering instructions. Ensure aircraft are in good mechanical condition and safe for flight. Requires ability to identify and understand non-conformities as they relate to safety-of-flight inspections, procedural breakdowns, and/or program (process) audits. Conducts incident and/or mishap investigation audits, prepare quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information, and trends including failed process, recalls, corrective actions, and validations. Requires the ability to evaluate process compliance, write/review Corrective Action/Preventative Action (CAPA) reports, perform root cause analysis and validate quality processes, responses, and plans. Job is subject to short duration business travel/TDY, and rotating shifts. Must be a US Citizen. This position supports a facility that requires special access. QC inspector or Military equivalent with (2) years experience required. Fighter Aircraft Systems and Operations experience needed. Knowledgeable of Safety, Tool Control, Foreign Object damage (FOD), Supply, Hazardous Material (HAZMAT), Quality, and Security programs.
