As a Test and Evaluation systems engineer on our team, you have the chance to develop test plans and strategies for satellite communications systems in support of readiness for Operational Test certification. Your te chn ical expertise will be vital as you evaluate and modernize Space Force satellite communications. You'll develop your skills in satellite communication systems engineering while gaining experience in Space Force communications systems. Grow your skills by merging test and evaluation engineering and satellite communications to create strategies for space systems. You Have:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer, Systems Integration Engineer, Test Manager, or Test Lead
  • Knowledge of DoD systems engineering and acquisition processes
  • Knowledge of Development Test and Operational Test milestones
  • Ability to develop test plans and procedures, review test articles, and develop systems engineering documentation in support of system level testing
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, CS, Network And Telecommunications, Information Systems, IT, or Computer Information Systems


Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with satellite communication ground systems, such as terminals and networks
  • Experience using DOORS for requirements management
  • Knowledge of AFMAN 63-119 and AFI 99-103 and PEO Certification process
  • Ability to work with military or DoD civilian clients and managing professional relationships
  • Ability to work in multi-faceted tests and test project teams
  • Possession of strong interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Possession of strong verbal and written communication skills
  • INCOSE CSEP / ASEP Certification


Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information ; Secret clearance is required.
