We are looking for a talented, motivated individual with a quantitative aptitude, a broad knowledge of math, statistics and business, hands-on data analysis and strategic thinking skills to join our Video Analytics/Forecasting Team.
The analyst will forecast modeling for Video portfolio of products for churn predictions by key behavioral segments.
Roles and Responsibilities:
The analyst will be taking general direction on goals to accomplish through her or his analytic outputs. They will use their independent judgement and experience to devise an analytic plan to solve business problems.
Collect and condense all relevant data. Determine the proper analytic or statistical methods to use. Interpret data to identify causal relationships and trigger points that influence customer behavior
Present a cohesive story to on the results of the analysis. Based on a solid business acumen, the analyst will cobble all the data and present it in a manner that is accurate and consumable for leadership.
Build processes to automate reporting functions. Define and create new metrics and report layouts with best visual aids to be consumed by executives as well as working teams.
Mentor and leverage the specialized skills from junior analysts to accomplish the overall objective of projects.
Background
Degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, business or related quantitative field; advanced degree preferred
8-10 years related experience in advanced analytics, statistical methods, data science, big data, relational database structures, research methods, sampling techniques
Fluency in one or more of the following statistical programming languages: SQL, R, Python. Excellence in SQL preferred.
Recommend solutions to improve performance based on analysis
Must have excellent organizational, analytical, and time management skills
