Description RESPONSIBILITIESMatch vendor invoices to purchase orders and corresponding documentation and approve for payment; Code & verify approval on invoices without purchase orders
Challenge discrepancies and communicate with vendors to ensure a timely resolution.
Process all check requests as needed.
Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices
May include intercompany reconciliation, EOM reporting, and balancing.
Download freight files and process payment journals
Maintain vendor database
Respond to & rectify vendor payment requests
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCEBachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
2+ years’ experience in Accounts Payable
Previous experience with ERP systems a plus, and Microsoft office proficiency required
