Job Description

  • Lead cross-functional teams from aproduct'sconception all the way through to its launch.
  • Responsible for overall execution of project roadmap.
  • This should consider all key timelines from every department
  • Creation Gantt Charts
  • Supplier liaison
  • Work with Domestic and International suppliers
  • Maintain good relationships to ensure targets and quality requirements are obtained.
  • Secure right vendor partners, negotiate costs with these vendors, and drive internal/external
  • Work with vendors on timelines of each step of the process to ensure on time product launches.
  • Drive development of tech packs and hand-off to manufacturing partners and internal Operations team.
  • Ensure the accuracy of product and packaging samples and seek approvals required.
  • Lead project meetings.
  • Run meetings with the most updated and accurate info
  • Constant communication with internal teams on product status and problem resolution.
  • Own project management and follow through for all new products and changes to existing SKUs.
  • This includes last minute changes to vendors and pushing to get changes made
  • Liaison between internal resources and vendors to execute development.
  • Continuous Improvement
  • Coordinate any planned changes to SKUs to ensure timing and development efforts are aligned with inventory supply and customer requirements.
  • Continuous improvement in processes and material with focus on cost reduction and quality improvements.
  • Set up items in ERP system and with external customers (dimensions, weights, category, etc.) and communicate accordingly internally with relevant departments.
  • Run PLM in Airtable
  • Guarantee deadlines are met to obtain samples for tradeshows & launch dates.
  • Initiate collateral requests within the Creative Department and/or with outside service vendors.
  • Competitive Analysis
  • Knowledge of what the competitors are doing in the market
  • Work with Brand Managers on competitive landscape.

Qualifications

·Knowledge of product development concepts, practices, and procedures including manufacturing processes and capabilities

·Must be extremely organized

· Experience with overseas manufacturers

· Must be a self starter

· Understand how to work with creatives, and speak their language

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with individuals on all levels

·Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel

· Basic knowledge of Adobe Illustrator
