Description We are on the look-out for a strong Staff Accountant for a Non-Profit in Escondido! This is an open-ended, contract position located in San Diego.This is an immediate contract opportunity, so most suitable for those who are currently unemployed. What you get to do every single dayPrepare journal entries and account reconciliations including but not limited to cash, prepaid expenses and payroll
Participate in various department-wide initiatives
Complete month end close, journal entries
Prepare payments, wire transfers ad ACH payments to vendors.
Prepare monthly balance sheet and income statement analyses for management reporting
Requirements
BA/BS or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Economics.
Basic understanding of accounting principles.
Prior experience utilizing an ERP system is a plus!
1-2 years of data entry / accounting assistant experience.
Must be currently unemployed.
