We have a 6 month contract opportunity for a Systems Specialist/Technical Analyst in Folsom, CA. This position will be mainly work from home with a few in person meetings a month.
Job Description:
Responsible for supporting business plan projects as well as initiatives for the Deposit Product program. Additionally, responsible for testing and implementing product development, maintenance, support, and enhancements to the credit union deposit products. Provides technical expertise to project teams and branch teams.
Job Duties:
- Manage deposit product specifications and validation process for account opening systems (e.g. DNA, Xpress). Participate in opportunities to pilot new products and services.
- Maintain technical related processes to support products delivered in opening channels.
- Use critical thinking and strong process orientation to review, recommend, and implement solutions to complex problems.
- Assist with proposals for new products/programs to support the deposit functions.
- Implement changes, upgrades, and/or new products/programs to support deposit functions, as applicable.
- Orchestrate the testing of all core releases, and/or system upgrades and changes related to deposits.
- Prepare test scenarios and evaluate test results to validate accuracy of programs and procedures.
- Provide operational and technical expertise to project teams and branch teams.
- Promptly resolve issues related to members and other internal customers.
- Review and propose policy and procedure development to ensure effective and consistent operational procedure documentation.
- Prepare, update, and ensure accuracy of handbook procedures as it relates to deposit account administration policies. Work collaboratively with other stakeholders when updating procedures.
- Identify training needs for deposit account administration. Provide training content recommendations to training team, as applicable.
- Manage forms related to the deposit account administration and operational processes.
- Performs compliance review of deposit products for marketing and advertising materials.
