R&D Ink Scientist or Formulation Chemist

Growing international materials manufacturer is looking for a Research Scientist to be responsible for developing market-driven coating technology platforms that feed into technical solutions meeting customer needs, with demonstrated technical and execution excellence.

• Master's or PhD degree in relevant Science/Engineering fields (Coating, ink, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Science) AND


• Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in ink formulation for inkjet printing


• Total of 7 years + of industrial/academic experience in inkjet printing process development, coating process development and technology implementation


• Knowledge and/or experience in liquid coatings, digital printing, ink formulation, UV coating, material property and performance characterization using mechanical, physical, and/or chemical testing/analysis, with demonstrated ability in coating formulation.


• Ideal degrees in Organic Chemistry, Ink Chemistry, Polymer science, Chemical Engineering and Coating science/engineering


• Demonstrated project management skills


• Ability to travel to various work locations as needed
