Business Analyst Location: Foster City, CA Contract: 6 months + Job Responsibilities
Responsible for completion of requirements gathering, use case development, documentation of user requirements and business process re-engineering
Work cross-functionally, both horizontally and vertically, to identify requirements and potential KPIs
Identify, analyze and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
Determining the impacts of possible changes to systems and business processes and implementing business process solutions to support supply chain requirements
Act as a consulting resource for data architecture, data model creation, and data analysis for forecasting and capacity planning supply chain activities for all commercial products across all manufacturing sites including all contract manufacturing organizations (CMOs)
Demonstrates in-depth knowledge and proficiency across multiple practices within Supply Chain and Commercial Manufacturing departments, to understand, coordinate and communicate competing demands
Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) liaising with business and development team
Present interpretation and insight to Commercial Outsourcing team, and PDM management
Creates and maintains a positive working environment to ensure high productivity, employee engagement and performance.
Effectively communicates with business stakeholders, system managers and development team to speed-up the project execution
Good organizational and time management skills, including working knowledge of basic project management tools and techniques
Strong negotiation skills
In-depth understanding and application of relevant principles, concepts, practices, and standards, along with an in-depth knowledge of industry practices and regulations
Analyze demand forecasts for drug products based on historical data and for new product introduction and CMO site expansion
Education & Experience 8+ years relevant experience in related field and a BS or BA; or 6+ years of relevant experience and a MA/MBA. Experience in pharmaceutical operations/cGMP environment highly desirable. Experience in business operations, supply chain, management consulting and/or other related fields
