Responsibilities:We focus on building quality software in an agile and results-oriented environment. Specific responsibilities include:Create sophisticated, imaginative, and efficient front- and back­end solutions for large-scale applications for the automotive industry.Partner with the Product Owners and other teams to deliver business value for CDK and our customersDeliver high-quality solutions using agile methodologies including TDD and CI/CDDesign reusable components by utilizing various standard frameworks.Make technology recommendations that support optimal construction, maintenance, and performance.Collaborate with other development teams inside and outside the company to leverage their capabilities and share ours.Work with global and cross-functional teams like Operations, Support, Sales, etc. Experience:Qualified candidates will generally have 7+ years of software development experience, including:Expert level knowledge in Java and JavaScript frameworks such as AngularJS or ReactExpert level knowledge in Node.jsExperience in REST API design principlesStrong database skills (SQL, NoSQL, POSTGRESQL).Familiarity with cloud-hosted services such as Virtual Machines, Apache/Tomcat, IIS, AWS and other similar providersStrong practitioner of unit and integration testing.Proficient with Spring, SpringBoot, Hibernate, CI/CD, Containerization.Proficient with DevOps and software deployment concepts using technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, Bamboo, and Git.Experience contributing to architectural development of a sophisticated API based front-end/back-end architectureExperience with Terraform, Splunk, monitoring and alerting systemsExperience with performance and scalability analysis, testing and optimization.Experience designing and implementing scalable, fault tolerant, distributed solutions/services.Experience with AWS (Lambda, S3, SQS, SNS, IAM).Experience with log aggregation/dashboarding, monitoring and alerting systems.Experience with Test-driven development in an agile software environment.Digital Intelligence Systems, LLC (DISYS)is an Equal Opportunity Employer that recruits and hires qualified candidates without regard to race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, national origin, ancestry, citizenship, disability, or veteran status.
