Job Description

Our Visa internship program occurs during the summer months only.

Payments are changing with new players, experiences and expectations. Over half of Visa’s volume is now digital, and many market trends are affecting how Visa and our clients do business. On the Digital Products team, we’re working on new solutions that will enable issuers, cardholders and merchants to engage in digital commerce more seamlessly.

The ideal candidate for this role gets excited by the prospect of rolling up their sleeves to dive into a problem in search of a solution. You thrive when there is clear definition of a problem or when you need to wade in and clarify an otherwise ambiguous problem set. You are adaptable, flexible and have a strong send of ownership for the project you will drive. Job duties and projects could include:

· Working with cross-functional stakeholders to design and build a proof of concept offering that will help issuers more easily allow their cardholders to get their cards setup and ready to use with their favorite merchants.

· Articulating the value of the solution and presenting that solution to internal teams.

· Collaborating with product marketing team to create value proposition messaging.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

· Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, CS, Human Cognitive Interaction , IS, IT, user Experience, User Interface Design or a related field, graduating December 2022 or later

· Minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 (or equivalent scale)

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and an ability to communicate effectively with business and technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

· Outstanding executive communication skills (verbal and visual) with an ability to explain complex business and technical concepts to broad audiences in an approachable way

· Strong attention to detail with the ability to correlate data and trends to business drivers, while thinking big and leading executive messaging; utilize data and metrics to communicate needs with ease

· Entrepreneurial, proactive, and operates under minimal supervision: high tolerance for ambiguity and complexity; efficient with limited resources

· Passionate about what you do and fired up about the opportunity to transform payments working for the industry leader

· The ability to take on challenges and address problems head-on

· Strong ability to collaborate

· Highly driven, resourceful and results oriented

· Good team player and excellent interpersonal skills

· Good analytical and problem-solving skills

· Demonstrated ability to lead and navigate through ambiguity

  • Proficiency with Powerpoint and Excel a plus.
  • Experiencedemonstrating self-motivation, and accountability.

Travel Requirements:This position requires travel5-10% of the time.
