Computer Vision, Image Processing Algorithms Engineer for Medical Device Company in Fremont, CA

Responsibilities:

• Design, prototype, develop, and test the machine-learning (ML) and deep-learning (DL) based image/signal processing algorithms.
• Design Python Algorithm tools for image/signal processing prototyping toolkits.
• Documentation for all phases of product development.
• Work closely with cross-function team such as regulatory, R&D, quality and marketing departments.

Required Skills:

• Background in image and signal processing
• Experiences in image classification and segmentation
• Experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow
• Proficiency in Python
• Keras and MATLAB a nice to have
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Good development experience on Linux
• Technical writing and presentation skills
• Strong initiative and passion about new technologies with high energy

• Preferred:
• Advanced degree (either M.S. or Ph.D.) in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields.
• Experience with medical image/signal processing algorithms.
