Job Title: Drupal 8 Developer Location: Fremont, CA Job Type: Contract for 6-12 months Overview: Looking for solid, smart Drupal Backend developer talent to enhance an existing development team who is tasked with migration from Drupal 7 to Drupal 8 and building Drupal8 based sites & applications in a high-paced, customer focused environment.
Job Responsibilities: Developing and integrating customized modules into Drupal applications Migration from Drupal 7 to Drupal 8 Follow established best practices and development protocols Collaborate with developers, share technical components and knowledge and contribute to discussion on coding practices Meet project deadlines Contribute to technical documentation for project Performance tuning / Optimization
Required Skills: Proficiency with Drupal 8 architecture and framework APIs Expertise in Content authorizing, customizing Drupal modules & Work flow management Minimum of 3+ years of real-world Drupal development experience Good experience in Drupal Elastic search Object Storage experience to AWS Knowledge of high-availability server infrastructure and caching strategies a plus Solutions-oriented thinker; always looking for the smartest answer to a problem rather than jumping at the first answer Takes pride and ownership in his or her code Takes on new challenges enthusiastically Keeps up to date with new technologies and standards
