Denham Resources has an excellent temporary to hire opportunity for an experienced Accounting Clerk. Join the team of our client, a well-established, highly successful and rapidly growing Fresno business.
DESCRIPTION
- Generate invoices and statements, verify financial data for use in maintaining accounts payable records
- Match purchase orders and batch invoices
- Review invoices and requisitions for satisfactory payment approval
- Prepare and process manual checks
- Reconcile accounts payable to the general ledger
- Daily deposits and daily close out
- Match invoices with supporting documents to maintain accounts receivable records
- Back up on phones
REQUIREMENTS
- 3-4 years of proven Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable experience with solid understanding of basic accounting principles
- High school diploma required; AA degree a plus
- Experience with Sage 300(MAS90) is beneficial
- 10 key by touch is preferable
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Excel and Word
- Attention to detail with ability to process a large volume of work
- Possess strong customer service, time management and organizational skills
