We are hiring for an experienced Accounting Manager to join a local business in Fresno, CA.
We are seeking a highly driven Accounting Manager with impeccable attention to detail, accuracy and efficiency to join their fast paced accounting department. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing the accounting team, directing, performing and overseeing all accounting functions within the department in addition to ensuring compliance of all Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.

Essential Responsibilities of the Accounting Manager:
Supervise accounting staff in accomplishing daily transaction processing of accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll
Compliance with all company, local, state, and federal accounting and financial regulations
Prepare journal entries, analysis and account reconciliation
Perform month-end and year-end reconciliation and reporting
Maintain accurate financial reports, records and general ledger accounts
Provide accounting support to the Board of Directors and Executive Management team as required
Compile, analyze and report financial data to the Board of Directors and Executive Management team for review
Assist with performing audits and resolving discrepancies
Ensure compliance with GAAP
Required Skills, Experience and Education of the Accounting Manager:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting /Finance or related field is required
A CMA or CPA license preferred but not required
Minimum of 3 years’ experience within a similar role
Strong analytical, detail orientation, organizational, problem solving and time management skills
Advanced computer skills; MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Accounting software programs
Excellent understanding of mathematics and accounting and financial processes
Professional and effective communication skills; written, verbal and interpersonal
Working knowledge of GAAP
