CSSC Application Engineers are members of the Back Office Team. This team provides pricing, selection, and/or quotations for our customers and colleagues in all segments. CSSC Application Engineers are able to support all of our customers with basic concerns and are focused on specific products/applications. They also provide support for our Front Line Team. This position will support our direct customer OEM accounts. This role will report to the CSSC Supervisor. Relocation for this position cannot be supported and qualified candidates must have authorization to work in the USA without support.Why Grundfos? Provide Tier 2 pricing and availability to Distribution Partners and Direct Customers.

Provide Tier 2 Sizing and selection of pumps, parts, and accessories.

Provide Tier 2 Pre-Installation/system support.

Provide escalation assistance for Inside Sales Application engineers.

Ability to provide Tier 2/3 support on focus area.

Ability to train internally/externally on products and tools.

Assist CSR teammates in providing pricing for open orders.

Provide proactive communication to customers regarding request status.

Understanding of competitor products and market.

Utilize the CRM Customer Service System 1Office including quotations.

Route requests beyond your scope quickly to the correct escalation path for resolution.

Handle customer complaints by collecting and disseminating problems and resolutions.

Provide or guide customers to correct product/submittal documentation.

Utilize Grundfos/CSC tools such as GPC, GXS, Extranet, PowerApps, etc.

Part number creation for products not quoted by CSC.

Quoting recommended spare parts and accessories.

Maintain quotation statuses.

Collaborating with colleagues inside and outside the CSC.

What do you need to apply? Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor Degree in Engineering or other related technical field or equivalent industry experience. 3-8 years experience in the water solution or related industries.

Strong communication writen and verbal communication skills.

Willingness to communicate with customers via email and phone.

Ability to travel (<5% of the time) to visit customers and see field installation.

Willingness to train AEs and CSRs.

Ability to assist in project based work.

Practical application of pump hydraulics (affinity laws, NPSH, etc.)

Understanding of Grundfos standard specification.
