All positions are located in Fresno/Clovis CAAs a Medical Assistant in one of our provider offices, you will be integral to our medical offices’ flow and patient experience. You will assist staff in providing medical or technical procedures, including patient flow and care. Community Health Partners, part of Community Health System, helps primary care physicians and specialists manage their practices. In your role, you will provide clinical and administrative support throughout the medical office, as well as guidance/mentorship to the practice's other Medical Assistants.We know that our ability to provide the highest level of care begins with our incredible staff. Gather and record patient history and information as directed by the physician.
Perform approved procedures, screenings and/or testing per Medical Assistant scope of practice and under direction of the physician.
Provide treatment plan education and instruction to patient(s) and/or family members as directed by the physician.
Ensure accuracy of screenings and diagnostic orders under the direction of the physician
Your Career at Community | Opportunity. Challenge. Growth.Experience and Education Minimum Requirements:High School Diploma, General Education Development (GED) or Completion of a CMC Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required
Completion of a course of study consistent with the requirements for Medical Assistants as specified by the Medical Board of California required
1 year of experience in the medical field required
Previous experience in giving injections required
BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
Preferred:1 year of experience in the area of specialty preferred
Bilingual or multilingual preferred
CMA - Certified Medical Assistant preferred
