An excellent career opportunity is now available for a Nurse Manager Compliance and Accreditation at a large Central California Medical Center.
The Manager Compliance and Accreditation is responsible for overseeing the regulatory, accreditation, and compliance activities within the health system. The Manager of Compliance and Accreditation works to remain current with state and federal regulators and also assures support and follow up on all surveys, reviews, and investigations. Under the direction of the Chief Quality Officer, the Manager will work closely with system leaders implement new or revise regulations and standards.
The Hospital System Accreditation and RegulatoryManager will provide central expertise regarding accreditation and licensestandards. Identifies, plans for, communicates, monitors and evaluates actions to comply with existing and new regulations, standards and accreditation requirements throughout the Medical Center. Develops working relationships with external agency representatives and key contacts to assist understanding of medical center compliance requirements.
TheAccreditation Manager provides consultation to all departments on the interpretation and application of The Joint Commission (TJC) accreditation standards to maintain ongoing readiness and organizes mock surveys to ensure readiness.
