1 Year of Experience as a Baker or Bakery Background (preferred).
Must be able to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly.
$13.00 - $15.00/hr pay, depending on experience.
5:30am - 2pm (Monday thru Friday, occasionally Saturdays)
9am – 5:30pm (Monday thru Friday, occasionally Saturdays)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Learn all phases of the manufacturing process, tables, ovens, dividers, molders, ingredients and mix as required by leads.
Forms, cuts, molds, shapes and bakes dough.
Monitors baking completion times.
Reports questionable product to the department leads.
Ensure all process meets the customer or specification requirements and minimizes risk to the company.
Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.
Perform basic visual quality inspections on products.
Utilize tools and equipment as needed to perform duties.
Must be able to work scheduled and unscheduled hours.
Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
Regular and predictable attendance and punctuality.
Communicates with department staff in a clear and timely manner to maximize productivity.
Acts as a problem solver and a team player.
Must be able to work independently or in a team setting.
Wears PPE Personal Protective Equipment at all times in the production area.
Uses lockout/tagout procedures designated for equipment.
Looks for ways to improve and promote quality of work; applies feedback to improve performance.
Must be able to withstand various weather and temperature conditions to include heat, humidity and cold.
Other duties as assigned.
