Hotel Piccadilly is looking for a fantastic Banquet Server to join our team. Prior experience in serving and setting up banquet functions is REQUIRED.
JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for activities relating to service of banquet functions. Follow all appropriate policies and procedures while constantly striving to improve all standards of operation. Ensure all guest experiences are supreme.
Maintain a positive public image for employer by performing the following duties and responsibilities (OTHER DUTIES MAY BE ASSIGNED):
Maintain professional guest and employee relations.
Display knowledge of food service.
Serve banquet meal functions in a timely and professional manner.
Prepare, deliver, and refresh coffee/break stations as assigned.
Pre-set banquet rooms as assigned, according to the Banquet Event Orders (BEO)
Maintain inventory of banquet supplies as assigned.
Maintain banquet/meeting rooms to include but not limited to, clean tables, vacuum, dust, reset room if required at conclusion of meal function.
Maintain cleanliness of dish rooms, kitchen, pantries, walk-in refrigerators, linen room, table room and meeting rooms.
Complete all necessary side work as assigned.
Display knowledge of basic bar terminology and wine service.
Maintain regular, predictable attendance as scheduled.
Work in a safe and responsible manner at all times.
Report any incident that may appear suspicious or could endanger the security of the Hotel.
Display an understandings of Hotel Piccadilly's dress code and appearance standards.
Attend all mandatory meetings.
Complete other duties assigned by supervisor and manager to include cross- training.
