Axis Coffee Shop and Eatery has immediate, part-time /full-time, opportunities. We are looking for motivated and creative individuals to help us grow our brand. We will have a new, cutting edge kitchen and coffee bar. This opportunity is unique in that it will be breaking ground in the award winning master community Tesoro Viejo - The largest master development in central valley's history. Our experienced ownership team is looking for hard working, passionate employees who want to help us develop a menu and expand our hours of operation. It is our company culture to train and promote from within. We source our conflict free coffee from some of the best producers worldwide who share our vision for quality and integrity. Our menu items will be handmade with thoughtfully sourced local ingredients. Craft beer and wine also available.

Qualifications and expected behavior.
- Has time management and muti-tasking skills (very important)
- Hard working
- Flexibility with job duties
- Quick thinking
- Organized, clean
- 1-3 years as a cook and/or culinary school is highly desirable,
- Experience baking pastries is also highly desirable.
- Maintains a "sense of urgency" attitude for the completion of responsibilities/tasks
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high pressure environment
- Some background in coffee/espresso service ideal but not required
- Fluency in English
- Strong knowledge of Health Code, maintains safe and sanitary conditions
- Able to work on your feet for extended periods
- Commitment to the service values and ethics of our company
- Dedicated and willing to go above and beyond
- Must be 18+ years of age
