Hotel Piccadilly is looking for a responsible House Person / Handyman to maintain cleanliness throughout the common areas of the Hotel and assist the Housekeeping & Maintenance Department with daily operations. A House Person shall maintain a positive public image for the Hotel by performing the following duties and responsibilities:
Supply clean, folded linen and paper supplies to the linen/storerooms.
Maintain all linen/storerooms.
Remove soiled linen from storerooms/carts and deposit in the laundry.
Maintain equipment, report needed repairs to maintenance.
Clean windows and mirrors in Hotel common areas.
Pick up and deliver supplies to Room Attendants.
Responsible for all sweeping and refuse disposal.
Deliver and pick up microwaves, rollaway beds, blankets, pillows and other supplies called over by Front Desk.
Dispose of garbage from Room Attendants' carts.
Maintain cleanliness in hallways and staircases.
Sweep and mop storerooms
Report any incident that may appear suspicious or could endanger the security of the Hotel.
Work in a safe and responsible manner at all times.
Maintain regular, predictable attendance as scheduled.
Attend all mandatory meetings.
Complete other duties assigned by supervisor to include cross-training.
