Señor Ají Peruvian Bistro is looking for a Line Cook and Restaurant Server to add to our team. We are looking for a friendly and professional person who is looking to work in a team oriented, fun and fast-paced restaurant.

Minimum of two years is preferred.

Previous experience working in a fast casual or high end restaurant is preferred.

Experience working as a bartender also preferred.

SERVER

Job Description:

-Servers must be friendly and greet guests upon arrival

-Must be able to take orders and operate a POS system

-Communicate with kitchen and deliver food to guests

-Clean up after food service and reset for the next day

Requirements:

-Must be over 21 years old

-Individual has to have at least two years restaurant sit down serving experience

-Must be able to communicate with guests in a professional manner

-Experience with POS systems

-Valid Food Handler Card required

-Must be available to work evenings from 4PM to Close, Tuesday thru Saturday, also on Sunday from 12 to 5PM

LINE COOK

Job Description:

-Prepare basic components of each dish on our menu using our proven recipes

-Memorize and utilize our serving portion sizes and all basic meal prep procedures used in the kitchen

-Ensure that the kitchen, all food prep areas and all food storage areas meet restaurant cleaning standards

-Work with team of cooks to do portion prep work for other shifts when needed

-Monitor product freshness and rotate out old product based on a schedule created by the restaurant

Requirements:

-2+ years cooking and kitchen experience

-Ability to work on your feet for six hours or more a day

-Pan/skillets sautés experience

-High level of professionalism

-Comfortable working with a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment

-Excellent communication and organization skills

-Must be able to lift at least 40 pounds at a time on a regular basis

-Great knife skills

-Kitchen Manager certification or ServSafe certification

-Must be available to work evenings from 4PM to Close, Tuesday thru Saturday, also on Sunday from 12 to 5PM
