Mochuelo Tapas Restaurant at the Hotel Piccadilly is looking for a Bartender / Bar Back to add to our team. We are looking for a friendly and professional person who is looking to work in a team oriented, fun and fast-paced restaurant.
Previous experience bartending is REQUIRED.
Duties:
⢠Greet guests, accurately take food and drink order and enter it into the POS (Clover system preferred).
⢠Extensive knowledge of spirits, beer, wine, and classic cocktails.
⢠Able to quickly and consistently execute drinks; classic and craft cocktails.
⢠Must have detailed knowledge of our wine and spirits selection, including technical and service aspects.
⢠Take ownership of the bar, including support staff, ensuring that all guests are happy.
⢠Ongoing cleaning and maintenance of work areas according to company procedures.
⢠Ensure proper set up of the bar from beginning to end of service.
⢠Stocking and maintenance of par levels for all bar products, including the maintenance of wine by the glass and draft beer program.
Minimum Requirements:
Must have and be able to do all of the following:
⢠At least 21 years of age.
⢠Perform bar back duties.
⢠Read, write, speak, and understand English comprehensively.
⢠Basic math skills.
⢠Valid Food Handler Card required .
⢠Must be available to work evenings from 4PM to Close, Monday thru Saturday.
