Looking to hire caregivers for an elderly woman in her home.
Must be mature, responsible, sanitary, and kind. No attitudes tolerated. Family member on-site to assist. Meals included; can eat what's available/we can adjust groceries.
Zero tolerance for drugs and alcohol.
No sleeping at work. Must wash and sanitize hands.
No past experience required, must be willing to learn and cooperate. Need someone good-hearted who will take care as if own family member. Most of your time will be free between tasks and is for you to watch tv, use your phone, whatever pleases you as long as it does not interfere with being within shadowing reach. Wi-fi available. Elder is not always balanced, uses walker, and needs someone to shadow; this is important.
Tasks include:
Preparing meals
Administering medications
Holding casual friendly conversation
Maintaining cleanliness in areas used (dishes, wiping surfaces, changing bedsheets)
Bathing (weekly) and cleaning body after bowel movements
Running and emptying wash/dryer machines
Taking dog and elder for daily walk
Driving for appointments or possible supply errand
Shadowing and assisting whenever elder moves
Keeping yourself, homespace, and elder sanitary (mostly washing hands and using hand sanitizer to prevent spread of germ and illness)
No working when ill
Job should be generally stress-free and easy if tasks are completed. Family member is always willing to assist and home most hours. There's an AM and PM shift 5:30am-1:30pm, 1:30pm-7:30pm. Looking to fill weekdays and weekends AM and PM at this time. Fri-Sun late evening to 11pm is wanted. Looking for overnights too in case family member needs to travel or take time off. Generally overnights are not needed, but the flexibility to cover is desired.
