WANTED: Live-in Care-Giver for developmentally disabled (Visalia)
PLEASE READ ENTIRE JOB DUTIES BEFORE CALLING WITH QUESTIONS:
WANTED: Live-in care giver for developmentally disabled adults between the ages of 18 and 59 years of age, suffering from intellectual disability, downs-syndrome, epilepsy etc. As care-provider some of your duties would include, but are not limited to; supervising, cooking, cleaning, transporting, dispensing medication etc.
I have one positions for Live-In full time, please note: Live-in staff actually lives at the care-home. This will become your actual residence. You receive a private room with private bathroom and walk in closet, there is no charge for rent or utilities.
This may be convenient for a couple (if I hire both), single person or college student that is looking for work and a place to live (because you save money on rent and utilities) but may be inconvenient for a married person or a parent because the care home would actually be your residence.
Previous experience is preferred.
Must possess a valid California DL, with clean record.
Must pass FBI and DOJ back ground check.
Must have First-Aid and CPR certifications prior to first day of work (we can set that up).
Must pass Health-screen/Drug Screen with TB test.
Must have High School diploma or equivalent.
