As a Security Officer with Egis Guard Company you will serve and safeguard clients while providing exceptional customer service in a professional setting. This role includes greeting and directing visitors, performing regular vehicle or foot patrols, and ensuring the security and safety of client sites.
Responsibilities:
Patrol job site perimeter, entrances, equipment staging areas, and building zones
Monitor and control site access for employees, contractors, vendors, and visitors
Maintain a visible presence to deter theft, vandalism, and trespassing
Verify proper credentials (badges, IDs, authorization) before allowing site access
Respond to emergencies such as break-ins, fires, equipment tampering, or safety hazards
Complete thorough Daily Activity Reports (DARs) and Incident Reports as needed
Lock/unlock gates, construction trailers, or fenced areas according to schedule
Report all suspicious activity to site supervisors, project managers, or law enforcement as appropriate
Conduct safety check-ins and communicate with site managers to ensure ongoing site security compliance
Minimum Requirements:
Have a Current Guard Card and Driver License
Have an open availability to work (including weekends)
Must be able to read & write in English
Have a working smart phone
Good driving record is a plus
Have a great personality & able to work with others
