We are seeking a dynamic and detailed professional to effectively help manage, market, lease and maintain the excellence of this community. The Assistant Property Manager will assist with the day to day operations of the community. The ideal candidate must be bilingual in Spanish, have strong sales skills and market rate property management experience.
Assist the Property Manager in managing all aspects of the property including leasing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, service requests, new applications, leasing, sales and customer service.
Monitor collections, post rent payments, enforce the collection policy and initiate legal action when required.
Facilitate all aspects of apartment leasing: touring with prospective residents, processing applications and negotiating lease renewals.
Provide exceptional customer service, respond timely to resident issues and complaints, and promote positive resident relations.
Under the supervision of the Property Manager, assist in all facets of physical and financial Management as needed and assigned.
Act as Property Manager in absence of the Manager.
Prepare financial reports for the Property Manager as well as resident correspondence, and notices.
Monitor the flow of accounts payable from issuing purchase orders to processing invoices.
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum of 1-3 years' experience in sales and leasing
Bilingual in Spanish
Experience with computer systems required, including web-based applications and some Microsoft Office applications which may include Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Strong sales experience
Property management experience
Market rate property experience
Exceptional customer service
