R-COLD, Inc, is a cold storage builder, based out of Perris, CA with a long history of projects in the Central Valley.
We need construction workers of all skill levels for our SO CAL and CEN CAL Crews to start immediately.
Our Crews of 3-5 carpenters work on commercial building projects, erecting pre-fabricated wall and roof panels, installing lighting fixtures, doors and windows.
General Construction Labor and skilled Carpenters (apprentice, journeymen, foreman)
General Labor Positions pay $15.50 per hour
Carpenter starting pay depends on individuals experience, skill, and demonstrated knowledge of the job. (min. of $16.00 per hour)
Full-Time, permanent positions, year-round work
Direct Hire, weekly pay, health benefits
Job Locations are throughout the Central Valley (Bakersfield, Visalia, Selma, Fresno, Madera)
Advancement Opportunities, good working environment, regular and consistent hours.
40 hours per week, with opportunities for OT
Job Expectations
Work with basic hand and power tools (grinder, circular saw, impact gun/drill)
Use measuring tools to cut materials accurately, to spec.
Work at heights; Operate a scissor Lift, Boom Lift, Rough Terrain Forklift (training and certification provided)
Follow all job-site safety rules and be alert to surroundings
Work well on a team or alone;
represent the company in a professional manner; demonstrate good decision making skills
Be of value and service to the team to accomplish goals
Requirements
Must be able to follow instructions, work safely and responsibly, maintain a tidy work environment, and report to work timely and prepared for work, using required PPE
Must be able to complete on-line safety training courses necessary for the job.
Must have transportation to the job each day.
Employer covers travel pay for job sites 65+ miles from home to jobsite via daily stipend.
Carpenters are mostly home each night. However, must have the ability to work out of town jobs when needed (overnight stays Sun – Thur; return home Fri – Sat)
Must be physically able to perform job duties including frequent climbing, crouching, bending and stooping; constant standing, working with both hands; working at heights, outdoors exposed to elements; exposure to loud noise and dust.
Must be able to complete a post-offer, pre-employment, physical and drug screen (no thc) prior to start.
