The Driver is responsible for providing transportation for residents in the bus/car for outings, appointments, or other scheduled activities and functions as directed by community leadership. The Driver will ensure the bus/car is well cared for, clean, and above all safe for our residents. Other responsibilities include helping residents on and off the bus/car, assistance with personal items (i.e. groceries, shopping bags, etc. . .), and other duties as assigned by their supervisor when not driving the bus. Other duties may include maintenance, activities, or others areas as deemed necessary by the community leadership.
The Bus Driver must possess a CDL (Class B with passenger endorsement); have a clean and safe driving record, and prior applicable experience. Driver should possess a caring and compassionate demeanor, be respectful, friendly, and team oriented. Prior experience working with the senior population is preferred however not required. This position requires to be available evenings, weekends, and holidays from time to time.
