• Senior consultant who can work with customers to define and establish an overall test strategy for Customer and then lead the implementation of that strategy.
• Should cover everything in testing, functional and non-functional, and not just test automation. A smaller responsibility for this person will be to manage the testing team (which is partially made up of Nous testers) on a day-to-day basis
• They have submitted Aakash's resume for this position and got a feedback from the client
• Thanks for arranging the interview so fast. Aakash is not a very good fit for the Public Storage position. We need to find another candidate who is more of a thought leader in testing who can help Public Storage establish a robust enterprise-wide testing process in addition to managing the day to day test management responsibilities. If we bring in Aakash, I will have to spend a lot of my own time covering the former, which is not practical.
• He seems to be a capable QA manager and should be able to handle the day-to-day management responsibilities well. He is knowledgeable about the testing process in general, can do hands-on test automation, and is good in communication. However, he falls short in the following ways:
• 1. He is not proficient in metrics based test management.
• 2. His knowledge of test automation tools is very narrow and dated – he is familiar only with MicroFocus UFT and to a much lesser extent, Selenium. He does not know anything about alternate test automation approaches or about the new tools in the market.
• 3. His answers are quite often not on target – he often brought up good points but they had nothing much to do with the question I was asking. This points to a deficiency either in listening or in structuring his responses, or both.
