Busy CEO is seeking an energetic and outgoing Executive Assistant. We are a four-fold business operation; operating in the actuarial consulting, facility service management, wholesale distribution and agriculture industries that provides goods & services in both the private and government sectors. This is very diverse position that would immerse someone into multiple business sectors.
Must be pet friendly as we have an office cat who is quite sociable and two pooches (Golden Retriever)
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Manage CEO appointment calendar
Arrange meetings and book travel arrangements
Face to face client & vendor interaction.
Cold calling and appointment setting.
Create and run Company’s social media accounts
Manage compliance requirements
Manage GSA Schedule
Liaison for special events.
Develop and maintain filing systems.
Perform and prioritize special projects
Maintain company organization charts.
Coordinate research projects.
Maintain company contact lists.
Assisting in other organizational matters
There will be approximately 2-3 days per week spent in the Auburn office
There will be approximately 1-1.5 days per week working remotely
There will be approximately 1-1.5 days per week working from farm in Shingle Springs
There will be approximately 1-2 days per month spent at the San Francisco office.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
Minimum 2 years' experience working in an executive assistant capacity.
Ability to learn and apply new knowledge quickly.
Strong research skills.
Ability to work on multiple projects in a deadline driven environment.
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Strong organizational skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Commitment to providing excellent customer service internally and externally.
High sense of urgency and ability to work in a fast paced, ever changing, high volume environment.
Strong analytical skills.
Ability to maintain a clean and professional appearance
BONUS QUALIFICATIONS BUT NOT AT ALL NECESSARY
Experience in government contracting and supplier diversity
Strong mathematical skills
Experience in basic accounting and QuickBooks
Knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRM software
Bilingual in English and Spanish
Relevant military experience is considered for Veterans and transitioning service men and women.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
$50,000 per year
$200 per month health care stipend
$150 per month auto stipend
Ability to work remotely 20-30% of the time
Incredibly flexible schedule
