Personal Grooming standards
An important part of maintaining food safety and providing a great experience for our customers are clean, well groomed employees.
All employees must agree in writing and adhere to the following grooming standards.
BODY PIERCING AND TATTOOS:
-Facial, nose, tongue and other visible body piercing are prohibited.
-Gage earrings are prohibited
-Tattoos and body markings may not be visible to our customers wearing a short sleeve shirt, no long sleeves allowed.
HAIR:
-Hair must be clean, within the natural color spectrum, restrained, and pulled way from the face.
-Men must shave before coming to work.
-Mustaches and goatees must be neatly trimmed. Full beards are not allowed
-mustaches and goatees must be covered with a beard net when required by the local health department,
JEWELRY:
-Employees may wear one ring per hand, up to two sets of earring no larder then a dime size, no large hoops, not dangling, no gages.
-When preparing food remove all jewelry from hands and arms other then your wedding ring.
PERSONAL HYGINE:
-Keep clean by bathing or showering and brushing your teeth everyday.
-Stay neat by wearing a clean uniform and keeping your fingernails short.
-Cosmetics must be subtle, moderate and within the normal color spectrum
-Any employees wearing fingernails polish, decals, false or acrylic fingernails must wear disposable gloves.
Not withstanding the above, we will make every effort to accommodate applicants and employee's religious or national customs or disability, which affect the way they dress or appear in the workplace. Each request will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
