Solid Ground Brewing is a production brewery located in Diamond Springs, just outside of Placerville. We have a small, fast paced kitchen that is managed under our Chef. Everything is scratch made with high quality ingredients with a high level of creativity. We are looking for a Sous Chef to be second in command in our kitchen and run the kitchen on shifts our Chef is not here.

Job Duties

- Aid in food costing and recording in Google Drive

- Aid in recipe formatting and recording in Google Drive

- Implement a prep list and keep up to date in Google Drive

- General kitchen admin work (no food ordering)

- Work line, prep, clean, and even occasionally run food. Kitchen is small and there will be times Sous Chef will be the only person in the kitchen on slow weekday lunchtime hours. Sous Chef must be able to tackle all tasks.

- Prep including baking bread, pickling, and fermenting vegetables

Requirements:

- Minimum three years in kitchen, one year in management role

- Must be VERY organized and good with the google suite

- Clean background check
